Restaurant
The Taube's two parlour bars take you back in time, offering an insight into two generations - not only of the innkeepers themselves, but also of the craftsmen. In their time, each of the two parlours was designed and built by traditional local carpenters, and incorporated lovingly and tastefully into the existing building. Cosy and welcoming, both rooms make the perfect place to drop in for a drink or a bite to eat.

Cuisine
A loving treat for the taste buds
We are strong supporters of the community, and take great pride in our local area. We like to know the people behind the products used to prepare our top-quality dishes, and for this reason we work alongside farmers, butchers, cheese-makers and gardeners from the region. Our menu offers a confident combination of traditional specialities, sophisticated creations and vegetarian dishes to suit every taste. Together with his team, our head chef Michael Webendorfer will really spoil you with his selection of imaginative and artistically prepared specialities.

Hotel garden
The green, green grass….
Our little garden is a veritable Eden during the summer months, with all-encompassing views of the surrounding countryside framed by the beautiful plants on the terrace. You won't find a better place to eat, drink and relax, and to enjoy the fresh air.
Cheese route
Because cheese is not just cheese
The "Bregenzerwald Cheese Route" is a concept put together by the farmers, hoteliers, artisans and businesses of the Bregenzerwald. All members and partners of the Cheese Route endeavour to promote and preserve the countryside and the local products of the Bregenzerwald.
The Taube in Bizau is a member of the "Bregenzerwald Cheese Route" marketing support team, and offers a selection of traditional tasty cheese dishes including the finest cheese-orientated menu suggestions.
